Burkina Faso
Experimental Hut Trial has been conducted in Burkina Faso to evaluate VECTRON™ T500 residual efficacy applied on both concrete and mud hut against pyrethroid susceptible Anopheles gambiae s.s. and resistant wild An. coluzzii. It provided residual efficacy (>80%) through nine months on concrete and mud substrates against susceptible, on mud substrate against resistant strain, for 8 months on concrete substrate against resistant strain.
Ghana
Village Hut Trial has been conducted in Ghana to evaluate VECTRON™ T500 residual efficacy applied on both concrete and mud hut against pyrethroid susceptible Anopheles gambiae s.s. and resistant wild An. gambiae s.l. It provided residual efficacy (>80%) through six months on cement and mud substrates. This trial will continue until 12 months after spraying.
Tanzania
Experimental Hut Trial has been conducted in Tanzania to evaluate VECTRON™ T500 residual efficacy applied on both concrete and mud hut against pyrethroid susceptible Anopheles gambiae s.s. and resistant An. gambiae s.s.Muleba-Kis. It provided residual efficacy (>80%) through seven months on concrete substrates and six months on mud. This trial will continue until 12 months after spraying.
